Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS Tour is coming to the UK: here’s how to get tickets

Fresh from the release of her pop-punk inspired second album GUTS, US pop star Olivia Rodrigo has revealed hotly-anticipated plans for a world tour – including not one, but two, nights in London at The O2.The entire tour kicks off on February 23 in the US, with a date in Palm Springs, California. The singer will tour the States until the end of April, with support from Chappell Roan, before the European leg of the tour commences from May 3. Her UK stint currently wraps up with a pair of dates in the capital’s The O2 Arena, on May 14 and 15. Rodrigo plays the following UK and Ireland dates, with support from US singer Remi Wolf.APRIL30 Dublin, 3ArenaRead MoreMAY03 Manchester, Co Op Live07 Glasgow, OVO Hydro10 Birmingham, Utilita Arena14 London, O2 Arena15 London, O2 ArenaThe tour will then continue to mainland Europe, with shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and finally Portugal, with support also coming from Remi Wolf. It will then return for a second lap of the US, with support from Pink Pantheress, and two final dates in LA with The Breeders. Eagle eyed readers will notice a handful of gaps in Rodrigo’s UK tour schedule, leaving plenty of room for additional surprise dates to spring up when demand is inevitably high. And indeed: “stay tuned for more dates coming soon!!!” the singer has hinted.Rodrigo last performed live in the UK last summer, playing a headline show at the capital’s Eventim Apollo, and appearing on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage for her debut at the festival. During the latter, she invited on none other than Lily Allen as a surprise guest; the pair performed Allen’s hit F**k You and dedicated it to the Supreme Court following their decision to overturn Roe Vs. Wade and constitutional abortion rights in the US.How do I get tickets for Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS tour?Fans keen to secure the goods will need to get organised, and register ahead of time using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system. To do this, head to Olivia Rodrigo’s official website, choose which territory you’re looking to attend shows in, and sign up from there. It’s worth being patient: the site was reportedly struggling to handle demand in the immediate aftermath of the tour being announced. The deadline for registering is September 17, at 7pm BST, and fans based in the UK can sign up one of two presales: the American Express® Early Access sale, or the Artist Registration Sale.Successfully signed-up fans will then enter a random ballot, with some of them getting access to a code on September 20. This will grant them access to a pre-sale the following day on September 21. Remaining registered fans will be placed on a waitlist.“Registration helps block bots, reduces resale and gets more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show,” explains a statement on Rodrigo’s website. “Registration does not, however, guarantee that every fan will get access to the sale. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. A limited number of randomly selected fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist. Getting access to the sale doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.”
